Artist's Description
The Morning was cold, and I had not slept well. We were high in the Sierra nevada mountains of California, and the wind from the night before had stopped completely, leaving an eerie silence. There were 7 of us at this spot, and I was careful not to wake the others. Once the sun hit me, I warmed up quickly, and the photographic opportunities were a welcome reward for the chill morning.
