Description
Bonsai rock is named for the little trees that grow on it. This spot has gotten quite popular in recent years, and during weekend sunsets, it can be overcrowded. I have not been going there much in recent years, as low water levels meant that rocks were sticking up all around it, spoiling the look.
This year we have had record snow and rain, so the lake is coming up quickly, and those rocks are underwater again! Hooray!
Of course the beach is much smaller, so the party kids that like to visit in Summer will really be packed in this year!
