Description
I was heading Back to Lake Tahoe from Reno. The Road had some seriously bumpy ice, some slush, and in some places it was pretty good! I was in no hurry, because it didn't look like there was going to be a good sunset.
I was wrong.
Just West of Incline Lake, you get a brief glimpse of Tahoe, an boy, was I surprised! Clouds had formed over the lake, And the sun was turning them golden!
I am no stranger to inversions, but they generally form the clouds at night, which then burn off during the day. This was really cool!
I found myself speeding up in anticipation- not a good thing. I backed off and played it safe, and all was well.
