Flume Trail Detail, Lake Tahoe
On the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe, there are several trails where there once were flumes carrying the water and logs used in the Comstock mining days. Hiking this trail the other day, the 'Big Views' across the lake were not so great.
It was overcast and gray.
On the other hand, the detail items were great! Rocks, cascading creeks and old stumps were as beautiful as ever.
Some say they see a face here, others see a dog- what do you see?
