Description

I was out at the overlook, high above the village where I live. This temperatures were in the single digits, so my friend Justin and I danced around our tripods to keep warm. Occasionally, we would dart into our respective cars, and try to thaw our hands.
The inversion layer pulled back to give us a teasing look at Lake Tahoe below, and just at that moment the first rays of the sun came skimming across the face of Mt. Tallac, 15 miles away...
